Rob Levine & Associates recently had the honor of sponsoring the 21st annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s event. We erroneously reported the fundraising totals in the first iteration of this blog. The correct and final total is $427,000 with $350,000 coming from the single-day walking events held in Newport and Pawtucket.
Rob Levine and his team were there for the Alzheimer’s walk, offering a raffle with a chance to win one of five sets of tickets to Providence Bruins games during the 2013-2014 season. Walkers and supporters who visited the Rob Levine & Associates booth submitted more than 50 entries.
The event broke records with this year’s total of nearly half a million dollars raised in support of the Rhode Island chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The Association provides 24/7 help lines, support groups and services. More than 25,000 Rhode Islanders suffer from the disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is one of the many causes that Rob Levine & Associates support through their community involvement initiatives. Sponsorship of 5k walk/run events, fundraising for local charities and participation in community events are what our attorneys and staff look forward to when giving back to our community. As a local law firm, we believe that we must support our community to the best of our ability, both personally and professionally.
