  • Add a slip-free matt and handle to your shower.
  • Install a railing on your staircase.
  • Make sure that rooms are well lit and easy to navigate.
  • Ensure that carpet and mats are secured to the ground.
  • Make sure repairs to floors and ceilings are fixed immediately.

Not only will these tips help prevent injury to you, but it will also lower the risk of your actions injuring others. Whether it is at a store, office, home, etc., if someone is injured in a slip and fall accident and you own the property, you may be held responsible.
